Chat broadcast or broadcast list in WhatsApp enables users to send a single message to multiple contacts separately instead of creating a group chat. In other words, each recipient can receive the message individually and respond to it.
The company is now making the WhatsApp chat broadcast section more useful for users with a “limit messages” feature. The company was testing such a feature for a long while. Looks like it is ready to go official.
Found in the WhatsApp Android beta 2.25.10.8 version, the company is bringing a message limit feature for broadcast users. It sets a monthly cap on the number of messages that broadcast users can send.
For instance, if a session lasts for 30 days, users will be allowed to send 30 messages. During each session, users can send a fixed number of messages. WhatsApp will constantly prompt an alert at the top, showing the number of messages sent within a session.
Users can access this new setting from the app settings or the broadcast chats. One can also check their remaining broadcast quota and use it as per requirement.
WhatsApp will also pin a message, showing the real-time number of texts sent in a month. The feature is still in the testing phase, but beta testers can explore it through the Google Play Beta Program.
