A new leak tells us important camera specifications of the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Pixel 10 Pro XL. The vanilla Pixel gets some upgrades, but they do not trickle over to the Pro and Fold variants.
Renders of the Google Pixel 10 Pro and Google Pixel 10 Pro XL showed next to no design changes from their last-gen counterparts. On the other hand, the vanilla Pixel 10 was shown to pack a third camera sensor, widely believed to be a telephoto lens. Thanks to Android Authority, we now have a treasure trove of new information about their sensors.

The regular Pixel 10 will differ quite a bit from its Pro and Pro XL and Pro Fold counterparts this time. Even though it has three sensors, they be radically different. Google's decision to reuse camera hardware across front and rear camera modules has carried over from the previous generation to the extent that the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL reuse the same sensors as the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL.
Essentially, Google is leveraging the new and supposedly TSMC-made Tensor G5 to do all the heavy lifting. But, if its Geekbench showing is anything to go by, Google has a long way to go before its in-house SoC can compete against the likes of Qualcomm and MediaTek.But, the Pixel 10 series, like many that came before it, won't target raw performance and deliver on other fronts such as AI-assisted photography.
